Fresh Produce Export Licence Fees / Charges, Kenya

Any person intending to export fresh produce — including vegetables, fruits, flowers, and other horticultural products — from Kenya must be registered as an exporter with KEPHIS. The Fresh Produce Export Registration is required under the Plant Protection Act (Cap 324) and is a prerequisite for obtaining phytosanitary certificates. The Horticultural Crops Authority (HCA) under the Ministry of Agriculture also plays a regulatory role in the export of horticultural products, with registration requirements for exporters, packing facilities, and marketing agents.
