Updating directors' details in a KRA PIN for a new company is a key step during PIN amendment, especially after conversion from a business name. This ensures tax authorities reflect current leadership and ownership.
Access iTax Portal
Log into itax.kra.go.ke using the company's existing PIN and password. Go to "Registration" > "Amend PIN Details" and select "Online Form" for non-individuals.
Select Directors Section
Tick the "Directors/Associates" box among sections to amend (alongside Basic Information if needed). The portal displays current officials from the old setup.
Update Director Details

Remove outgoing directors: De-select sole proprietor or prior officials.

Add new directors: Enter each one's full name, KRA PIN, ID/passport number, shareholding percentage, email, and phone. All directors must have active individual KRA PINs.
Ensure details match BRS records exactly to avoid rejection.
