Is There a Cyprus Embassy in Nairobi?
Cyprus's diplomatic mission in Kenya is formally a High Commission of the Republic of Cyprus, rather than an embassy. It is located at The PIANO Building, 11th Floor, 171 Brookside Drive, Westlands, Nairobi. The official Ministry of Foreign Affairs website for Cyprus confirms the address and current telephone and email contacts. This current Westlands location is important because some older online directories list a different address. Visitors should therefore use the current official Cyprus government website rather than relying on historic embassy lists.
Cyprus High Commission Contact Details

Location: The PIANO Building, Westlands
The PIANO Building is on 171 Brookside Drive in Westlands, a major commercial and residential district of Nairobi. Westlands is easily reached from the city centre, Parklands, Kilimani and other parts of Nairobi via Waiyaki Way, Chiromo Road and nearby connecting routes.
Because the High Commission is on the 11th floor, visitors should allow time to enter the building, pass any security controls and locate the appropriate reception or office. Building access rules can change, so confirming the current visitor procedure is sensible.
Consular and Visa Services
The Cyprus High Commission provides consular services and handles visa-related enquiries. Its official contact page specifically directs consular and visa questions to hcnairobiconsular@mfa.gov.cy. Source: High Commission of Cyprus in Nairobi
The mission's visa information indicates that applicants can submit questions and applications according to the published Cyprus visa procedures and supporting-document requirements. People should not assume that a visa appointment can be handled without checking the latest instructions first.
For Cypriot citizens in Kenya and the wider region, the mission can also provide consular support and assistance in appropriate circumstances. Cyprus lists Kenya among the countries for which its Nairobi mission has parallel accreditation, alongside several other East African states and international organizations. Working Hours
The official Cyprus government listing gives Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as working hours, with consular visiting hours from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Source: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus
These separate schedules matter for people who need consular or visa services. A general office may be open while the public-facing consular counter is operating on a different timetable.
Postal Address
Kenya's diplomatic directory lists the High Commission's postal address as P.O. Box 15916-00509, Nairobi, Kenya. Source: Kenya Ministry of Foreign Affairs
While physical visits are useful for in-person appointments, postal communication may still be relevant for formal correspondence and document submissions where the High Commission permits them.
Confirm Before Visiting
The Cyprus mission's official website currently provides the most reliable information for its location, telephone number and email addresses. A previous online directory may show an older Nairobi address, but the current government page clearly identifies The PIANO Building, 171 Brookside Drive, Westlands. For visa, consular or emergency matters, contacting the mission first is the safest way to confirm the correct procedure and appointment time.
